Weekend Warriors serve in both volunteer and paid positions. Weekend Warriors provide much-needed respite for our Live-In staff and serve in the Sparrow House from 5pm Friday afternoon until 5pm Sunday afternoon. They essentially live in the house with the Full-time staff person and the Sparrows over the weekend and participate in Sparrow House activities. Weekend Warriors need to be flexible, mature women who are able to safely transport women in their personal vehicles to various locations, assist with cooking meals, participate in fun weekend outings and make solid decisions in crisis situations.
